It's been bothering me for a while. Whenever I see a new spoiler or watch a promo for season 4 there will always be one person in the comments getting angry that Elena appears to have "chosen" Stefan again. (We don't even know this, it's speculation.) When they think Elena has chosen Stefan they get angry and call Elena a bitch.
Really? Elena is a bitch because she's an independent woman with an independent mind and free will that she chooses to use? I'm not going to say it's Delena fans writing things like this, because it's not. I'm a Delena supporter and I don't ever write things like that. It's just certain people who get fed up with their couple not being cannon and choosing to hate that character for not hooking up with who they want them too.
Guys, shipping isn't easy. A lot of times ships that we want don't work about. But please don't hate a character for it. I can honestly see why Elena keeps choosing Stefan. He's a lot more sympathetic than Damon is. Elena is going through a tough time and Damon isn't good at taking someones hand and baby-ing their way through things. It makes sense to me things would be better between Stefan and Elena than Elena and Damon.
Just, if you want to call Elena a bitch or Stefan an asshole, don't. It's okay to dislike a character for whatever reason but don't go around forums and sites posting hateful comments.

The next morning.
A buzzing sound, coming from Caroline’s pedestal cupboard woke her up and she opened her eyes. She took her phone and opened it. She had received a message from an unknown person.
“I know what you are and we will destroy you” she read aloud. She swung her legs off the bed and searched for her ring. When she had found it she put it on and walked to the window. She shoved the curtain and stared outside.
The sky was grey. It seemed like it was going to rain.
Caroline opened the window and climbed over the edge.
“Game on, bitch” she mumbled, before she jumped and landed gracefully on the pavers.
