Help me please?why are y grapics so bad?

my computer sucked at home so i went to my uncles and he just bought a new high speed computer and i loaded it on it was really fast and then my grapics wee horrible
#i went to oppions and turned them all the way up
#then saved and quit and then went and started it up and nothin changed still horrible

what do i do?

It can be discard or something... Because in my game grafics are good !

I went to 'settings' and changed the games resolution (is that how you say it in English?) from 800*600 to 1280*1024 and it worked for me
First you have to check your monitor's resolution
