The Sims 3 Question

A save problem.

I have a Toshiba laptop and have installed Sims 3 on it. Now for a while it would very well, a little on the slow side but what else would you expect with a Toshiba and Windows 7, but after several days of occasional gameplay, somthing happened. When I tried to save it would do absolutely nothing. It just got stuck on the save screen, no error message or anything it would just stay on the save screen for hours until I finally had to use Ctrl Alt Delete to close it. Nothing would save and all effort would be lost. Can anyone help me?

you need a more powerfull computer. I loded the sims 3 on to a home made gaming computer, it works really well. Laptops are not the best to put sims 3 on, stationary computers are the best, on my computer I have the sims 3, 2 expantion packs, spore, and a expantion pack for that, and sims still does not freaze. this is a really powerfull computer so get one and try that.

Actually Laptops are fine to play any of the Sims games on, especially Toshiba's depending on the model. I have a Toshiba Qosmio X775, and I'm having the same problem. It's a bug in eA's software.

Actually It doesn't matter If you have a laptop or a desktop. I have quite a powerful laptop and Sims 3 runs perfectly on it, Also I have all the Sims 1 and 2 expansion packs.
I've been having the same problem, a lot of people have. It started when I got Generations. Nobody really knows what or why It does it, mostly people are just waiting for a new patch from EA to hopefully fix it, but that is wishful thinking.
