The Sims 3 Question

How do you get more than one active household in each game??

Can anyone tell me how you can have more than one active household in each game? I've tried moving new Sims into the original game, but it won't let me choose more than one household to play as. So when I want be new Sims I have to start a new game.
Is that just the way the game is or can I change this??

easy. go to the '...' in the corner. click 'edit town'. then click on the button that has houses on it. if you hover over it, it says switch households, or something like that. click on it. but the sims in your previous household will most likely loose their wishes.

it's still okay, though. I do it all the time, and no harm done.

In the corner of the screen there is a little ... sign and you click edit town. Their is a set of houses and if you hover over them you see. Change active household.
If you want to carry one that exact same game later (Cos it deletes wishes) just save.
You then just select the house you wanna go in.
Late reply whatever
