The show wasn't cancelled because of the movie. If anythng, from what I heard they almost considered keeping the show going till after the movie for all the extra publicity it would give the franchise, but in the end decided the ratings weren't worth it, sadly.

The movie was nowhere near as good as the show though, I didn't like it (I didn't even watch the whole thing, I got bored and stopped). There were some annoying plot holes, and not much thought was put into the story. It wasn't like the show, which had actual interesting plots and characters, the movie was just a brainless action movie in my opinion.

Movie was rubbish! At least the show took the Terminator mythology in new directions and fit in totally with James Camerons original vision. Like Asvini said, the film was just another brainless action movie, more about the effects than the characters. BRING BACK THE SHOW!

HELL YEAH

I just finished season 2 last night and was sadly disappointed to find out that the show had been cancelled. Everything where I am is pre-recorded so I am a little behind. I haven't even seen the movie and now I'm not sure I want to. :o(

I Love Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

The movie was ok, but I liked the series more, even though I loved Christian Bale and Sam Worthington in "Terminator: Salvation".

That Terminator movie sucked! The show is/was WAY better. Honestly I think the show is better than all the movies except for the 2nd one! I'm REALLY disappointed this show didn't continue :(
