The weirdness between Pam and Jim has always been a big part of the show, but, I think people for get that the show is not a great show because of JAM. The show is great because of the comedy. One thing that makes a Television Writer good is if they can continue to write good comedy and change the story line along the way. If the writers for the Office can't continue to write good comedy AND have Jim and Pam in a relationship then they shouldn't be writing for the show. I think Pam and Jim can date and the writers will do a great job of developing new story lines while keeping the show as funny as ever.
I thnk they could have little fights or disagreements, and that will keep people hooked always wondering if they will break up, however, I do think the writers will have them break up a couple of times.
They don't have to break them up. I mean, the thing about the Office is that the writers and producers have always tried to keep things real and normal. I mean, probably they will do what all couples do and have little arguments and fights but they won't break up.
Plus, the JAM story is a B plot to the Office. The main plot is Michael Scott and his stupidness with his workers.
The writers are too talented and I'm sure they'll keep things real. I mean, they got the best writers on TV. It's too cliche to go down that road, TV breakups.
