two years is a long time. I can't imagine a sixth season.

but i hope it ends within the next two seasons.

not because its bad, but so it doesn't get bad, if that makes sense. don't draw it out until its not funny anymore, like friends.

I can understand what you mean Marissa, but what if the office gets new writers like the simpsons or SNL did? The Simpsons are still funny after almost twenty years, and SNL was funny until Will Ferrell left which was when it really plummited[I think it's really bad now]. The Office has become so successful, that it is very VERY likely that it will become an hour long show from recent reports! That proves it may last to eight or nine seasons if it goes to an hour.

It's not meant to last forever! We can't forget it's supposed to be a documentary. I partly feel bad in saying this but I hope it ends because I don't think I could stand them dragging Jam on for another two years.

Marissa is SO right! The British show = short, sweet, awesome.
It ended with Jam together and Michael meeting a really nice girlfriend (but getting fired).

yea.. the office cant last for 6 seasons, people will stop watching it and they'll start losing ideas for episodes.. sucks.

don't get me wrong, this is my favourite show on television, but i would hate to see it get drawn out and lose what makes it so amazing. although i said "Yes", i have to be honest, with a plot twist like Ryan becoming Michael's boss i have brand new faith in the writer's to maybe keep it going for years and years. it's the best comedy on t.v. right now, so why not keep it up for awhile? it's a tricky question.

Friends just kept spiraling down. They didn't have anymore ideas so they pinned Rachel and Joey together. I don't want the same thing to happen.. imagine possibly having Michael and Pam together in the 7th season. Eek!
Once it ends in two seasons, I'll buy the dvd set and watch it forever :)

thats not true. ppl watch the office for more than just jam. the office has only been out for 4 years and its been so successful theyre not gonna end it for a long time

i hope its not over! if it gets horrible and sucky then yes it will end but if they get back to their 2nd season roots it will great!!
and ppl that say Friends sucked! some of the funniest episodes were in the last seasons, my opinion :)

I love this show and I don't care if Michael is leaving or not, I'm still watching it. I guess I have a passion and dedication for it I guess.
