they have already said there will be no spin-off. the show that was supposed to happen in Feb. was just another show created by Greg Daniels and has no affiliation with the Office.

I think the employee they're referring to is either Holly or Pam. I'm probably way off though... Thursdays can never come soon enough.

There is no spin-off. It's off the table for now. That has been announced for a while now. Brand new show, no affiliation with The Office, with Greg Daniels and Michael Schur acting as the executive producers. Smart move.
