They would make another lion king movie again though, it would be like that, i agree. The Villians all died, they figured out they are one, Simba came back. What other else would they do? I can't even think what the main problem would be when making another movie!! :D!!!

Originally, I did think it would end that way. But when it turned out it didn't, I wasn't disappointed.

Besides, if they decide to ever create a TLK movie about the next generation, it gives the character designers more freedom without having to worry about confusing the audience. When Simba's Pride came about, a lot of people were confused because Kiara's character design was different to what we saw at the end of the first film (as she wasn't officially designed then) so it wasn't clear that the one in the first movie was her. So if the story continues, the character designers won't have to take that into consideration, or worry it'll happen all over again.

I think the ending is nice. Kovu, Vitani and the outsiders joined the group. I loved it.

Yeah this was a good ending plus I think that Kovu and Kiara were way younger than Simba and Nala were at the end of the first one so I don't think they were ready to have kids.
