The den of shadows by amelia atwater rhodes is one of my favorite vampire books, and in that demon in my view is one of my most favorite stories. The setting is twilight oriented but aubrey is a vampire who drinks blood and thats what drew me to the series. Also the fact that aubrey is able to fall in love with the mortal girl jessica and she was a girl who was not accepted by anyone even her adopted mother. Though jessica is keen to become a vampire she realises just how weak she is as a human and when fara attacks her jessica fights with all her strength. When aubrey asks jessica whether she wants to be turned she readily agrees. Finally she and aubrey found each other. Jessica finally found the love she was earning for to be accepted and aubrey found that he is capable of loved and being loved.
