I liked Juan. He was one of the more intriguing characters in the show. Although he did bring about a lot of his own troubles I did feel sorry for him in the end. I was watching the first episode and thought it was interesting when the brothers arrived at their mother’s home Cesare joined his family at the table whereas Juan remained at a distance, as if maybe he felt he didn’t belong.

Then when he had to kill Djem, he really didn’t want to do it. He was his friend. I think this is where Juan’s fate was sealed. And it was to help his father. It seemed that once Juan left Rome he did...
