When I first started watching Dawson's Creek I loved it, but as the seasons passed I started to find the show annoying but I felt obligated to watch it since I had been watching it from the beginning. So by the end of the show I was tuning in out of some sense of obligation (I don't know why, I guess b/c at one point I was a huge fan), but I wasn't enjoying it at all.
And Dawson's Creek was ending just as I started hearing about a new show that was going to premiere in the fall with one of the DC recurring actors- One Tree Hill. I just assumed One Tree Hill would be another Dawsons's Creek (both were teen soap operas on the same network that had Chad Michael Murray and took place in North Carolina). I didn't want to get sucked into a show and then watch every week because I needed to know what was happening but didn't enjoy watching. I figured it would be a waste of my time.

But I wasn't doing anything the evening the pilot aired so I watched it anyway haha. And I really liked it (and although OTH was not nearly as good in its final seasons, it didn't annoy me nearly as much as DC did in its final seasons).

It's stupid really but for three seasons, I just absolutely wouldn't watch it but then one day I was flipping channels & it was showing repeats & I caught the last few episodes of season 3 & absolutely got hooked & now it is my all time favorite show!!

I only started watching it after I realised Adam Scott was in it because I LOVED him in Party Down, now I'm so glad I did.

I remember MTV showing the first season in one day and my sister was watching it, and I was like wth are you watching and then I just sat there and watched the whole season.

Also OTH. I had seen like one episode and my friend and I were wondering why it's so popular, it's not even good but then I started to watch more episodes and I like the first four seasons, after that it really isn't that good.

I started it + I stopped it because I disliked it! But some time later I gave it another chance + I love it now! - I think many people disliked it too at the beginning.-

Another choice is Stranger Things because I don't like horror movies
