All 3 Buffyverse scenes you listed here kill me. I cry during all of them. That Anya scene was the moment I went from thinking Anya was a character simply on the show for comical relief to realizing just how important her character was to the show and how her character was actually really deep, emotional, and brilliantly written.

But the end of Becoming Part 2 makes me cry and cry and cry. I watched it with a friend recently who had never seen the episode and he couldn't believe that I still cry when I watch that episode even though I've seen it 20-30 times over the past 13 years. It just breaks my heart </3

so sad :'(

I think this tops my saddest TV moments.

Oh god. The Body was an incredibly heart breaking episode and Anya's breakdown was actually, in my opinion, the saddest part of the episode. But Fred's death honestly made me cry. Horribly, horribly heartbreaking. And Fred wasn't even my favorite character.
