^ Agree about TO being the best part of TVD. That's part of the reason I don't like TVD season 5.

@Rumbellefan11& charmeddexter, totally agree with you both. I much preferred The Originals S1 to TVD S5. I really only kept watching TVD for Damon, because I love him, but HA. -__- Don't even think I'll be watching S6 after that season finale.

I wish Julie Plec actually cared how disappointed most of TVD's fans are right now...If she keeps Damon dead she obviously WANTS the ratings to fail.
The number one reason that kept me watching S5 was Katherine...
At least they still have Caroline...who they've underused (seriously, send her to NOLA with Klaus!!!)...and Enzo is fun to look at...

@Rumbellefan11, EXACTLY. She's biased and it's just BS, she should be more professional than killing him off basically just because she hates him. I really didn't even care to keep watching S5 but I used to be so invested in the show so I didn't just want to stop watching, ya know? So the stuff with Katherine kept me interested - then they killed her off. Enzo is cool and Stefan stopped being a douche, so those are pluses but eh. And I love Caroline but seriously, you're right, they're hardly doing anything with her other than apparently making her and Stefan get together.. Which is another thing that is annoying me. Why can't they just have an awesome friendship, why must they ruin it and make them become a couple? Ugh. I really wish they would switch her to The Originals {forget Cammy or anyone else being with Klaus, Klaroline all the way, man}. At this point I just have nothing keeping me from stopping watching the show. Which is a fucking shame. TVD used to be my favorite show {Before S4& before I came across Supernatural}. Now that my baby is dead I am just done.

Yeah, writers think "oh I can change my mind about a character/storyline/ship and just get rid of it or throw it out" but the fans are the ones who keep the show on the air, their the reason the writer has a job. It is definitely important for writers to at least PRETEND they consider fans feelings when writing!

I had my fingers crossed so hard that Katherine would pull another classic Katherine move and find another way to survive...the way she always did. Was crushed that they actually killed her off :(

Ugh, Steroline. They do have a GREAT friendship...but why not encourage the ridiculous belief that a man and woman can't just be friends? Seriously though, no romantic chemistry there. Klaroline and Steferine forever <3

I'm personally not that into Damon myself, but I was offended that the writers are that uncaring about fans on behalf of those who do love him. Such a stupid ratings risk. Next season is going to be SOOOO bad if they don't bring him (and Bonnie) back! If that were a SERIES finale it would be one thing...but to kill of one of the three main characters before the last season...although I do know one other show that did something that dumb...
