Well...Angel, Buffy, Moonlight, Kindred, and Blood Ties.
Been a fan of the Sookie (True Blood) books since high school but the show went downhill fast and doesn't even come close to the amazingness that the books are. Only saw the first episode of Vampire Diaries before giving up on it (books are better for that too). To be honest, I generally much prefer vampire novels to TV shows. They actually make up about 90-something% of my book shelf.
