Hey Y'all! I need some help with my latest undertaking. More than anything else in the world, I love to write. More than almost anything else in the world, I love to act. And more than...um...a lot of things in this world, I love TV. Combine all these great loves and what do you get? Well, I'll tell ya: you get one girl (me) dying to write a screenplay for a television show in which she is the main character.

The only problem is, I am having trouble coming up with a story idea to run with and create a script out of. And that's why I'm enlisting all of you, my fellow fanpoppers. If anybody has some inspiration for the next great teen drama, and you are willing to share that inspiration, please let me know. Of course, I'll make sure to give credit where it is due; I would never steal someone else's creative genius. All I'm asking for is a few clever ideas that could possibly turn into a TV series.

I will need consent to use your story, - (granted, I won't plagarize; I'm just planning to take the basis of the plot and modify it to fit my personal writer's voice) - and keep in mind I want to create something age-appropriate for teenagers. Yeah, I know teens these days are subjected to a lot, but I'm not looking for something overly sexual. One more thing, the main character should be a girl, since that's what I am:)

If I absolutely love the suggestions that hopefully come flooding in, I'll try to show my appreciation by incorporating some of your names into the screenplay - if you're okay with it, that is. If public recognition is not your thing, tell me, and I will find another way to say thanks.

Cry away, it's okay!
Cry away, it's okay!
A warning before beginning this article: although all of these series are concluded, some for several years, I will provide a spoiler alert for Ally McBeal, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and 8 Simple Rules for those who are that touchy about learning about major events in shows they haven't watched.

Death. Everyone does it. And television shows often use death for a season's climax, knowing that the loss of a loved character will anguish (but entertain) viewers. But there are few that actually cause audiences to cry. As a TV & movie viewer who tends to prefer...
