OMFG so today I was at this furniture/decoration warehouse thinggy, and there was this little area set up with a sofa and a rug and stuff and it looked EXACTLY like Mrs.Lovett's parlor. Like no joke. Something unexcepted and great has happened to me a few hours ago! So, my classmates and I were presenting something we had created. My creation was a poem that I had written. And then, just for fun, I sang a song from Sweeney to one of my teachers (who likes Tim Burton too! :D). And a guy stopped and listen. My mother (who is sick of me siging, watching and talking about Sweeney Todd) said that this wonderful film was even more childish than Harry Potter (which is not childish anymore, but sitll!)! O.O I was so angry (and still am!)!

one of the things I think is so brilliant about the ending is that even though all of the kids make it out alive, none of them really make it out with their innocence intact. Anthony sees dark things, and leaves the evil man in the mad house to his "children". Toby kills Sweeney. Joanna was already jaded because of how she grew up, and now she saw (or heard) Sweeney kill her mother. Not to mention she "never had dreams, only nightmares."
