In S06E10 , "Caged Heat" , Sam takes khe knife back from Meg. Can you tell me when exactly the lost it? I really need the answer. My mind is blowing.

I think Meg and the other demons she was with just took the knife from Sam and Dean earlier that episode, when they captured the brothers. I can't remember them losing it or not having it before then.
