My favorite episode is Monster at the End of the Book. It's very funny. It introduces the charator of Chuck who is brillent. Amoungest the best bits of this episode is that the book series Chuck creates is actually the episode titles and the brothers discovering the meaning of a slash fan.
So hard to choose!! Ummm, I'd have to say "Lucifer Rising" because it tied up sooo many loose ends to the show! Plus, Sam and Dean reunited, both Lilith AND Ruby died (woohoo!), and we found out the whole master plan behind almost the entire show! It was soooo good. But a close second was "In The Beginning", another excellent explainer.
there are so many good episodes in season 4 but the best for me are Yellow fever ( cause it's so funny ) , On The Head Of A Pin ( cause it's all about Dean , it explained a lot about him in hell and it was so emotional ).
There're so many great episodes, but my favorite is Wishful Thinking.
Why?? Where do I start... The big alcoholic, suicidal, and hilarious softener Teddy Bear, Audrey, Todd, the idea of an actual wishing well and it's consequences, the brotherly moment both good, funny and sad, the quotes, the... I think you got it now, the episode was both hilarious and serious. It had everything, and was just plain perfect! That's why I love it!(:

Yeah that one was also my favorite i could not stop laughing =)
Definitely "Monster at the end of this book"; when Cas tells Dean dead serious that those books would be "the Winchester Gospel" I thought I'd break a rib laughing. LOVE Supernatural, wish it could go on 4ever.
Mine would be 'On The Head Of a Pin'. I thought it really showed Dean deep down and in the episode, Castiel sort of comes to stand on his own and make his own decisions.
