Chapter One:
Natalie yawned and rubbed her eyes. It was morning, but the sun was just barely peeking over the horizon. She glanced at the clock and sighed. 6:45 am. She stretched, got up, and decided to get a head start to the day. As she was getting ready, she accidentally knocked over her hairbrush and cringed. "Sorry, Madeline," She whispered.
Natalie was an orphan. She'd only been an orphan for a couple months after both of her parents died in a car accident. It was a difficult time for her, but she was determined to get through it, no matter what. Her parents were counting on her, and she didn't want to disappoint them. She knew that they were watching over her and cheering her on from the heavens.
As Natalie was about to leave the room, she noticed Madeline begin to stir. Madeline then sat up and rubbed her eyes. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she saw Natalie standing at right next to the door. "Someone's up early," Madeline teased, causing Natalie to blush as she headed back to her bed. "Hey, it's not my fault that I'm always busy doing homework, unlike a certain someone I know," She retorted as she raised her eyebrow.
The duo giggled, but were immediately silenced by one of the staff members. "Sorry!" Both girls whispered down the hallway. Both Natalie and Madeline smiled at each other. "So, what's on your schedule for today?" Madeline whispered. "I'm not sure yet, but I did hear the staff talking about something yesterday that I think you might be interested in..." Natalie said with a smile. "Ooh! Tell me!" Madeline exclaimed, but one of the staff members shushed them once again.
Natalie lowered her voice and told Madeline to sit with her. Madeline obeyed and snuck over to Natalie's bed. They both sat in silence for a few moments before Madeline spoke up. "So... can you give me as much detail as possible?" Natalie shook her head. "Sadly, no. I only heard bits and pieces of their conversation, but I did hear that someone might be adopted today!" Madeline gasped in excitement, but immediately tried to calm herself down. "I wonder who the lucky child will be," Madeline whispered. Natalie smiled. "We'll just have to wait and see."

Hey, everyone! DivaChipette1 here! I apologize that this club isn't as active as it used to be. I hope to change that soon, though! I've just been really busy planning out my YouTube channel and my Wattpad account (@Crystal1Rose)! (More details on that in my DivaChipette1 club). I hope that you all are doing well and are staying safe. I'm sorry that I haven't updated my "Sunshine Love Vacation Time" fanfiction, I just haven't really found the motivation to complete it, so I am going to be putting that on hiatus.
I also made a bunch of new clubs (I will post a list of them in on my forum page!) Hope you all are doing well and stay safe! Thank you for stopping by! - DivaChipette1
