Should I give Star Wars Battlefront a try?

I'm a relatively new Star Wars fan. Since Christmas is coming soon, I'm trying to decide on what ps4 games I want since I only have 3 at the moment. I thought about trying Battlefront but I'm a little unsure since I've never played a first-person shooter before. So I was wondering if you guys still recommend it.
