I was introduced to the Star Trek phenomenom back in the late 60's. I always looked forward to watching the series when I was a little kid about 9 or 10 years of age. I'm now in my early 50's and still a fan. It's nice to see that the younger generations are enjoying something I've loved since I was a kid.
I was 9 years old, and my dad insisted that he show me Star Trek Originals Series. Because I am an animal lover, he showed me "touble with tribbles" I've been hooked ever since!
Although i saw reruns of Star Trek TNG on tv between five and six years old, I wasn't introduced to it until the first season of Star Trek Voyager. I lived with my grandmother at that time. She used to watch all the sci-fi shows of the time including Stargate sg-1, X files and even shows that i can't remember. It was when i started to show interest and ask questions about Voyager that she introduced me to the original series movies.
After she passed i felt compelled to learn all I could about Star Trek. It was really the only thing we shared a defining interest in.
She and I were very close from watching Star Trek.

This is a nice memory of your loved one. My late father liked Star Trek also especially the original series and Next Generation. He also was a Star Wars fan.
I was born into Star Trek. My dad and grandma both love the show. So I've been a fan since I can remember.
Every Christmas, the tree is decorated with all Star Trek ornaments. Lol.
I may have watched some Star Trek in my teen here and there but I started to follow Star Trek in my early 20s, which was early 00s, with Voyager.
In that particular time of my life I associate the excitement of ST:VOY with the FPS game Unreal (Epic Games and Digital Extremes), which I have a fond memory ; those were the days GPUs were rare and my local ads featured a single used 3D card (separated from the 2D card) and it was so in demand, it became a bid which I lost.
When I was seven (about 10 years ago). My brother was three at the time and he liked watching it for some reason. I came home and was attached to it after a while. It got me started on Sci fi (and improved my vocabulary very quickly). Now I've seen most if not all episodes of TNG, DS9, TOS, and Voyager, with Voyager being my favorite.
I started watching TNG on the old Sci-Fi channel in the late 90s or early 2000s because I'd always been a big fan of Jonathan Frakes (thanks to 'Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction') and of Patrick Stewart (thanks to other appearances of his.) It seemed like THE thing to watch, and sure enough, I fell in love with the series, and its characters and other actors. From there, I later went on and watched the original series, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise, because I'd become fully Trek-obsessed. TNG, DS9, and TOS are my favorites. <3
Not real sure what age but I was a kiddo. Started with The Next Generation in fact my cousins had the action figures and everything I remember watching it at their house all the time. DS9 is my fave of all the ST Franchise.
It was in the early 90's and I was about 8 or 9. I watched at first a little TNG. I finally got hooked up with ST, when I started to watch DS9 & VOY, still my fav.
As a small child in the 60's. I would sit in front of the Television set and dodge the Enterprise as it came towards me on the screen. Been hooked ever since.
I was first introduced to Star Trek a couple of weeks ago, when I was scrolling through Netflix looking for something to watch. I have always been a nerdy girl, and had heard of Star Trek. I watched both new movies from 2009 and 2011, and instantly fell in love. Over the next week I proceeded to see almost all three seasons of TOS. And I am now a Trekkie! <3
