Late was not the word for the hour, because for Angel the concept of "late" was a moot point. Regardless, at some hour of the night when most people would be sleeping, or at least relaxing, or maybe indulging in an embarrassing fantasy or two with a consenting partner, Angel was slumped over his desk in his dank office at the demonic law firm of Wolfram and Hart....
