Sophia Bush has signed with CAA. Bush has played the female lead on two back-to-back drama series, the WB/CW’s long-running

where she plays Erin Lindsay and regularly crosses over to the the other Dick Wolf NBC shows. On the feature side, Bush starred in Dave Meyers’

opposite Sean Bean. Outside of acting, she has a skincare and perfume line, i smell great.

CAA is the perfect place to turn her career around! I’m sure she’s going to get a LOT of attention there! Smart move, Sophia! Way to watch agency signing patterns!

Sarcasm? There are a lot of big fish at CAA, so yes, chances are she won’t get as much attention as she would at a smaller agency, but I think this will be good for her. I’m actually surprised she’s focused so much television work with two back to back series. I always thought she would focus on a movie career.

Ignored at WME so she goes to CAA? Gersh in 18 months. 3 months if she’s smart. She should probably hire a manager to help her with these decisions in the future.

Just a fan, so I don’t know much about the ins-n-outs of the various big and small agencies, so I always enjoy reading the other comments and learning new things about how the agency system works.

From my perspective, as just a fan and viewer of television, I don’t know if Ms. Bush is better off with a small or large agency, but I do know when someone has charisma that jumps off the screen. That kind of charisma can’t be bought, or learned. A gift like that is just that – a gift, and Ms. Bush has that in every role she’s played, and her fan base follows her where she may go, from ‘Hill’ to ‘Chicago’. They know, and in the end, it’s the viewers, the fan base, the customer, that are most important to a career.

I wish Sophia Bush all the best… I didn’t watch Chicago PD before she arrived, but have watched ever since she did. BTW, I like that name of her skincare and perfume line: ‘i smell great.’ I never had any doubt.
