not because it didnt feel like the series...the storyline was weak and those clothes montages and the designer name dropping and holding boxes into the camera- and that really over excessive use of love..on the painting, on the keychain, saying it all the time- i just felt they tried too hard and failed miserably.
it wasnt fun, it wasnt original, it wasnt bold..just way too skinny actresses with too much botox trying to get it on and pleasing enough people to make enough money.

I looovve the original series but to me the movie just didn't live up to the hype. It didn't have the same authenticity as the show did, it wasn't as funny or relatable. It seemed too polished and contrived and the characters were like cliched copies of who they were on the show. That being said, the fashion was fabulously droooll worthy! but the rest of it was all wrong.

agree with the brand things and the love.. it's like all we women have to do is find good clothes and a guy... HELLO? But I enjoyed the movie when they were so obivously there for each other!

I don't understand how you can love the series and not love the movie. I think it had a lot of the same things in it the series had. And so much happened, I think it was a good script. Me and my friend just had an amzing time watching it. We screamed when Big's name was revealed, and when Carrie wore her tutu. It was just amazing.

It wasn't perfect but it had that feel of the series and I loved that. I laughed a lot while watching it. And I liked the message it gave - that we may have our best friends, but when it comes to the important decisions, we have to make them alone.
