well in so many ways all of these characters reflect behavior we all sometimes have, and circumstances we can relate to. We laugh because we know excatly what they are talking about, many women sometimes ask the same questions carrie writes about in her lap top. Although we may not have a smith=jared but we may have a Big type of guy in our lives too. It impacts how women single or not juggle love, life, and happiness. And doing it in style:)

I think it deals with more feminine issues and is directed at a female audience but I am sure men like watching it too, gay men in particular love the show as it is quite camp and outrageous at times. ;)

Because all women can at least relate to a part of one of the women.
