is it legal for a 14 year old girl to have sex with a 19 year old boy??

Ive been wondering!

age when you're no longer a minor (in US) is 17. so the guy could get in trouble if someone pressed charges on him. if no one does its fine

I know right?! I guess at least they have a mimimum age, as stupidly low imo as that is. There are countries out there where the only restriction is that they're married. There is that case in Saudi Arabia of the 58 year old man who married an 8 year old girl and the courts refused to annul the marriag

If one of you is younger then that age and the other one is older then it's illegal. It doesn't matter if it's just a one year difference.

If both are younger or both older than the age of consent then nothing can happen.

At least that's how it is in my country.
But you know as long as your both willing I don't think anything can happen.

You've got to be at least 16 to be able to have sex (plus at 14 your body isn't biologically ready for sex, even if you think you are)

Not at 14 though. You're barely a teenager then. There's a reason the legal age is 16. Like I said you may feel ready but your BODY is too young

having sex, is not illegal. its frowned upon for minors to have sex but you deffinatley can not be fined or sent to jail for having sex, think about it. your personal opinion is that fourteen is too young and you clearly feel strongly about that. but it really depends on how emotionally prepared someone is, if they can handle the pressure and emotions that go along with sex, then she is ready and its perfectly legal, so go fot it;p..
