How old were you when it was Sept. 11, 2001?

I was forty-three years old but being older it still bothered me. The company I worked for at the time has their home office a few blocks from Ground Zero. My late father, when he was in the Air Force worked at the Pentegon and he was really upset when that building was attacked. He was also upset at the deaths of the firefighters. He was a firefighter for a small department in my hometown over thirty years. This horrible event in my opinion is my generation and every generation after me our Pearl Harbor. I'm too young to have been alive during WWII.

I was in second grade. I was seven years old. =/ I remember the day very clearly even though it was so long ago...(and hey! You're younger than me? You write REALLY good for your age!!!!!)

well my sister is 9 now her names brandi and her birthday is on the 17 of september so that would make her if she was born in 1999 she would have been 1 and i was born in 1997 so that would make me 3 1/2 so ya my parents cryed when they heard the news on t.v and dads a interstate truckie and had to have the week off he was devestated

I was 4 years old.... I was in kindergarten and I remember having to watch it on TV. My teacher, Mrs. Hopkins, was crying. & I remember having to lock all doors and windows :(

I Was 6 Years Old, My Sis Was 1 When It Happend, I Saw It On The News At 3 In The Morning Because I Cant Sleep So I Turn On The TV & I Saw It I Was Very Scared & Still Paranoid About If I Lost My Best & Close Friend & My Parents

I was 7, though I remember it very clearly. I came out of school and my mother was sitting in front of the television and I saw people jumping out of the building because it was on fire.... Not something you can easily forget.

i was nine at the time.i remember it all to clearly .I was in math class when our principle came over the loud speaker and told us.My mom was on a way to a interview when she heard it on the radio.Its a day i dont think i will forget.

I was 13

I was 5 and I stll remember that day vividly...

Had just turned 4 the month before. My mom says I was playing in my room.

I was 3

i was 18.

I was 2. All I remember was that it was a normal day, and it had all happened before I even woke up. I live in Arizona, so the first plane crashed at 5:46 here. I went to go play at my friend's house after. I'm sure my mom and my friend's mom discussed it.

Well, I turned 4. . .

I was eight years old at the time. I don't remember it that well, I do remember coming up from from the basement for lunch and thinking my grandmother was watching some war movie. My birthday had only been a few days before that.

I would have been about 2 and a half, almost.

I was 11 at the time. I can vaguely recall seeing some of it on TV, but barely. That day for me was kind of a blur, but I'm certain that many people don't feel that way. For most, that day is still as real as when it actually happened.
