In Japan, people use lots of smileys or emotions in their messaging.

While emoji (graphical presentations of emoticons) are probably most known, “kaomoji” (from “kao” = face, “moji” = character) are the Japanese version of Western/Eastern emoticons and there are practically endless variations available.

The biggest difference to the Western/Eastern and Japanese emotions is that they read horizontally and you don’t need to turn your head to understand them.

For example the Western/Eastern emoticon for “Happy” looks like this :-)/:) while the Japanese version looks like this (^_^).

Do you use these emotions or others in your emails?

Here are some examples:

(^_^) happy

(((º Д º ;))) scared

(-´´-;) problems

(>_<) angry

(?_?) confused

(-.-)zzZ sleepy

(^ _^;) embarrassed

(^O^) very happy

(T_T) sad

(^ ε ^) kiss

A lot of people, including non-comic fans, think that Christopher Nolan's Batman films are well-made, high-class films. In fact, several versions of Batman, including the 60's show and 90's films, are treated as if they're inferior and not worth taking seriously.

However, I, whatsupbugs, am one of Batman's more obsessive and geeky fans and I'd like to propose a theory. It's a crazy theory, but I still believe in it. My theory is that the 1991 comedy film, Alyas Batman en Robin, is better than Christopher Nolan's highly-acclaimed trilogy.

You're probably already confused and you might think...

Warning: This article is very repetitive and silly.

He-Man: "I have the power!"
Kool-Aid Man's response: "Oh, yeah!"

Robert De Niro: "Are you talking to me?" (The Kool-Aid Man remains silent.)
Robert De Niro: "Are you talking to me?" (No response)
Robert De Niro: "I'm the only one here, so you must be talking to me."
Kool-Aid Man's response: "Oh, yeah!"

Queen Elsa: "The cold never bothered me anyways."
Kool-Aid Man's response: "Oh, yeah!"

Batman: "I want you to tell all your friends about me. I'm Batman."

So the Shin Megami Tensei franchise is a pretty well known series of games. And I’m not just saying that because it’s really Persona that people care about and Shin Megami Tensei has flown under the radar completely, no I’m not bitter, you’re bitter. Shut up. But this is not about me gushing over how great SMT Nocturne is. There are some people who don’t know about it, or absolute heathens, some of them known as sundaes that are of the plastic variety, that say it’s just bad, which is fine, one is entitled to their opinion no matter how wrong they are. Regardless, Nocturne was a...

Okay so a quick show of hands, who here remembers Afro Samurai? Very few of you, I’m sure. Afro Samurai is a thing… and it definitely happened. Okay, I rag on it, but there was definitely effort put into this bizarre idea. A black swordsman travels across a land of feudal Japan. A feudal Japan containing cell phones and robots and Kanye West bears. But effort was put into this, or at least money. Afro Samurai was voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, music was done by RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, and the anime itself was animated by Studio Gonzo and won awards for it’s animation. So naturally, with...

Good lord, Midway is at it again with another one of the worst games of all time, god save me. This time, we got ourselves a bike game, Gravity Games Bike: Street, Vert, Dirt… That’s a fucking horrible title. So this is an extreme sports game where you play on a bike and try to rank up the high score. I like extreme sports games. Tony Hawk’s Underground is one of my favorite video games ever. Yet Gravity Games Bike is a runner up for one of the worst video games of all time, so that’s going to be real fun to play. So let’s see if this game can hang with the biggest names of extreme...

Well, here it is. It’s time for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. While I have been busy with a ton of other things like work and the underlying threat of every phone call being a scam artist or something to leave me bankrupt, this article has always been in the back of my mind. And I’m finally gonna talk about it. Today. That’s right. It’s time we finally get to talking about the classic comedy film. Clerks… 2!. Nah, I’m kidding. Fuck that movie. It’s Clerks, the original, 1994 film

I: From Humble Beginnings

Clerks is the best comedy film I have ever seen. Of...

#1: SGT FRANK WOODS:
Of coarse he's number 1. The guy who joined the Vietnam war because "it was fun". About everything he does is badass.. And I will give spoilers. So not only does he and Kra- (can't spell it) survive that gernade. But it's implied Woods escapes being P.O.W all by himself.. Though he than gets recaptured by Raul Menendez in Angola, and the first mission involves finding and rescuing him. The circumstances of Woods' capture - being tortured, having his men killed right in front of him, and locked in a shipping container with his dead comrades and left to die of starvation and...

I know that I was supposed to make an article on the movie Clerks, but after the amount of what I have read today, within such a short span of time, I feel that I have to make this article. And despite the title that isn’t really all that funny, I choose not to make jokes with this. I don’t want to add any funny images, as much as I enjoy that. This is an article that contains serious subjects and is a real problem with the modern culture. On August 27th, 2019, ProJared released a video discussing the drama he was in. For those that don’t know, ProJared was a gaming Youtuber who made...

Already, everyone, I’m gonna level with you. I haven’t been out of my house in three weeks. I haven’t seen the son, I only leave my room to eat or use the bathroom, and I’ve been glued to my chair for so long that it has left a permanent mark of my ass. And why is it that I have been in such a horrid state? Because I’ve been playing nothing but Slime Rancher.

Where do I even begin to talk about a game such as this. This is a game that feels so well crafted and so perfectly made that you can feel the developers love and care in it. They make updates frequently for the game and...

Let this indie title be a lesson to anyone wanting to review games, if you play a game weeks or even months in advance before you actually talk about it, always go back to it, especially if it’s an online title. Cause it may change things so much that it will also change your entire opinion, either for the worse or for the better. Thankfully, this is for the better.

So to elaborate, I am not a fan of online shooters. I played a bit of Team Fortress 2 back in the day, but never got too crazy into it, played online modes of CoD 4 and Halo, but not excited. And Overwatch makes me wanna...

Hello everyone and welcome to the next half of In-Indie. I was able to binge a whole lot of new indie titles to get this out and boy, do we got some greats and some… not so much. But we’re here to talk about not just a great, but one of the best. A game that many online are calling the Dark Souls of the indie scene…. Wait, that’s not rig- Hollow Knight, everybody.

So yeah, this is a game that many would compare to Dark Souls and I would as well, but not for the reasons a subhuman, like, a video game journalist, would call this a Dark Souls game. Yes, the difficulty is there, which...

I am aware I am super late when it comes to talking about this movie, but I felt like that, now that I have analysed it, anal-ized it, and pretty much picked out everything about this film, I feel like now is the perfect time to discuss this film and see what it’s worth is. So with that being said, let’s talk about Spielberg

In the recent years, Steven Spielberg has been seen as an old coot who can’t make it with the times, hides all his bad writing behind a ton of CGI, and just some guy who should probably retire with all of his money and join the ranks of washed up directors like...

Episode 12: Get Everything On The List

Christmas was just around the corner. The Nut House would be open on Christmas Day, but closed from the 26th, to the 31st. Many of the guests were telling each other what they had on their Christmas list, when Parker walked in with...

"Let...me...out."

"Let. M-me. In."

Number 05 fell back into a lean against the stony, plain gray wall behind her, still attempting to focus the blurriness in her swollen right eye. Though she herself couldn't see it, she knew that it probably looked just as bad as it felt.
Meanwhile, her good eye could still see the man who sat in the middle of the small box of a room, the flickering light above them swinging back and forth dismally.
She could see the back of his head shifting, large lumps crawling around frantically beneath his scalp like a house full of rats under a pale and stained comforter....
