When I can't go to sleep, I stay online or play video games in the dark. Sure, it's not good for your eyesight, but it actually gets me tired. Maybe it could work for you.
If that doesn't work, maybe you should try daydreaming while you close your eyes and try getting to sleep. My parents always told me that I should clear my mind and that would help, but it's really difficult for me. See if you get into so much thought, you forget about not being able to fall asleep.
Also, turn any clocks and/or bright lights away from you. Looking at the time can bring anxiety, and lights can be distracting -- unless you really don't mind it. You can also look up some tricks online and see if any of those help you.
I normally think about fantasy adventures in some of my favorite fictional universes. Or I think about my crushes. Then I most of the time go to sleep.
Being unpredictable...i close my eyes and think about Italy god i have the biggest crush on him this im my favorite pic of him and my icon god i love him SOOOOOO much
