It was the same usual day around the Flynn-Fletcher household. The sun shining, the birds singing, and the boys lounging out below the family's old oak tree. The two gazed up at the sky, not speaking a word until the familiar someone had come over.
"Sunny as ever," Said a female voice as she opened the gate. Her deep blue eyes sparkled as she blinked, fluttering those long and beautiful eyelashes. Phineas tried to not be distracted by her stunning beauty as her voice flowed in a soft movement.
"What'cha doing?"
Those soothing words I live for, Thought Phineas, lost in his own thoughts clouded by the black-haired girl.
"Hell-oh?" Isabella giggled, crouching down and giving Phineas a shake to wake him from his daydreams.
"Huh?" Blinking out, the red-head shook his head to clear his thoughts as he smiled up at her. "Oh, hey Isabella. Sorry, I was zoned out there," He went on, standing up quite awkwardly.
"What were you thinking about?" She teased, leaning in a bit.
"Just our daily project," Phineas answered quickly, scratching his right ear and turning his gaze to the other direction.
Isabella crossed her arms and smiled. "You're fibbing!"
"Am not!" Phineas objected, taking a step backward and grinning.
"Oh, yes you are," Isabella was now twiddling with her hair; possibly she couldn't get any cuter. "You were thinking about me, weren't you?" And then it happened. That cute face got three times even more cute when she blushed and giggled at the same time. Isabella always had an uncanny way of knowing what his mind was on and how he felt at times.
Phineas, about to break into laughter, sighed and, with a slight smile, lowered his head and said, "You're not going to give up until I say what you want to hear, aren't you?"
Isabella raised an eyebrow and pulled a strand of her smooth hair back to behind her neck. "Maybe, maybe not," She said, "But you may expect me to force it out of you."
Phineas' eyes widened and he gave a huge smile, shielding his face with his hands. "No!" He laughed. "Don't do it!"
"Tickle fight!" Isabella exclaimed, jumping onto him and running her fingers over his stomach.
Phineas couldn't help himself but laugh as hard as ever. "Stop!" He pleaded. "Okay, okay! You're right! I was! Now let me go!" He backed up against the tree and was trapped between. With Isabella in front and the oak behind, he had no escape.
He let out a huge breath of relief as his friend had stopped tickling him. "Can I go now?" He asked, then noticed that Isabella was blushing. Their faces were barely inches apart. Phineas' face flushed red as the two just stood there, caught in the moment.
It was all broken when Ferb cleared his throat. "Is this romance scene turning into a soap opera, or are we going to start building now?"
