Annabeth took me back to the forge. She introduced me to a guy named Jake Mason. He looked pretty friendly but very muscular. He looked like he’d been working in a forge for his entire life. I met some other people to. Clarisse from the Ares cabin, she didn’t look happy to see Annabeth, but she grunted at me. Will Solace, from Apollo. He seemed nice. Travis and Connor from Hermes. Both were very cool. Deliha from Aphrodite. She seemed busy with her make up. Katie Gardner from Demeter, I liked her. And a few other people. They all seemed fairly happy to meet me. She showed me a bunch of swords and knives. She told me to pick one. I saw a hair clip mixed in and when I showed her, instead of laughing, she nodded. “It’ll turn into a spear. It’s a powerful weapon. It’d look nice on you too.” I put it in my chocolate hair. She grinned then and we walked out of the forge. She’d already explained a lot to me, and for some reason, I took it all in without surprise. She told me about her friend Thalia, and her other friend Nico. I sighed, I almost felt like we were sisters. I wondered…could she be my half sister? I pushed the thought out of my head when a horn blew. “Dinner time. C’mon. I’ll make an acceptation and let you sit with me tonight.” I smiled and we ran towards the dinning pavilion. I paused on the way, I knew something big was going to happen. I just couldn’t place what. She called out to me and I continued running. But I couldn’t shake the feeling.
Chiron didn’t shock me too much. Okay, well, I’m sure Annabeth has marks in her arm from when I dug my fingernails into her arm…but, she just grinned at me. “Tigress, meet Chiron.” Chiron, the centaur/trainer of heroes trotted over to me. “Uh…Hi?” was all I could say. He smiled at me and welcomed me. Annabeth asked if just this once I could sit with her. He nodded and we went through the dinner rituals. Later, we were at the campfire. Hephaestus’s Jake Mason was leading the sing-a-long which Annabeth laughed at. In between, I met Grover and Tyson. Friends of Percy and Annabeth. Well, Tyson was Percy’s half-brother Cyclops and Grover was Percy and Annabeth’s Best Friend satyr. I was starting to think camp was the best place ever. Annabeth sighed next to me. She was in the middle of Percy and me. She looked very happy. I felt impulsive so I ruined the mood. “When will I get claimed?” Percy jerked up straighter. Annabeth glanced at me, then back at the roaring flames, “I don’t know Tigress. Soon, I hope.” Percy frowned, “But we are all making assumptions about you’re parentage.” I’d confessed to them both earlier that I’d been told I was an orphan at the age of five. I’d moved around with family ever since. I saw a little girl in the middle of the fire. She waved at me. I smiled and looked around. I began to think I was hallucination until I saw Percy wave also. Life was finally working out for me. I had made friends, found a place to belong and discovered I had a family. Then a gasp went through the crowd and all eyes landed on me. Chiron raised his hands to silence the murmurings. Percy jumped up in surprise. Annabeth fell out backwards onto the grass. I looked around bewildered, “What?” Then I looked at my head. Above it, was a glowing green trident. “Well Percy,” Chiron announced, “Look’s like you have a sister.”
