Is Tratie (Travis and Katie) a real thing or just something the fans made up?

Is Tratie (Travis and Katie) a real thing or just something the fans made up, cause i don't remember in the books it ever saying they like each other, but there are almost as many Tratie fics as there are Percabeth and none of the other made up pairs have soooo many fics so i don't know
