What do you guys think about the Mark of Athena burning through Rome? Personally I can't really picture Rome in flames, so there ARE other possibilities right?

I think it's just talking about Annabeth and her making a really really big impact on Rome kinda like a fire would.
Or you know she just gets really really mad and she has "smoke coming out of her ears" so it could just be her storming around Rome like a fire would.
Or you know none of the above.

The Mark of Athena burns through Rome. most likly sad and or angry or for some reason shes alone in rome helping find the doors of death but has to be alone for some reasone or possibly help finding nico but again has to be alone or was separated.i know its lond just giving sugestions

well she might bring the biggest impact and destroy Rome into its ashes, but there might be like her destroy GAEA.

I think Annabeth is gonna die....I will cry.

Percy has got SPQR on his arm. maybe the mark of Athena will burn through this mark because of Annabeth(she wont die im sure)
maybe Percy swears to protect her and nerver seperate again and Gaia uses this binding... or something

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Mark of Athena Daedalus had.
