She would have just thought Peyton was a whore and moved on with her life. Maybe she would have still broken up with Lucas because her insecurites were growing rapidly, like they did in the real break up. I think Brooke SAID it wasn't about peyton, but we all know that if Peyton and Lucas hadn't had that kiss things would have lasted way longer then they did. posted over a year ago.

Brooke said that her decision to end it with luke had nothing to do with peyton; and when brucas tried dating again, brooke knew peyton still liked him and she still went ahead and dated luke in 408. and brucas both decided they didn't have that special love they were looking for. Brucas would have come to the same decision with or without peyton being in the picture (cause peyton wasn't the reason brucas went days without a meaningful conversation; nor was she the reason luke barely called brooke; she also wasn't the reason luke never let brooke all the way in). posted over a year ago.

It still wouldn't have lasted, brooke would have still gotten heartbroken and that deeper side we saw in s2 would have still surfaced to make luke fall for her I think. but i guess we'll never know... posted over a year ago.

Just thinking about how things would be if BP weren't friends, is confusing:\! I mean if LP cheating storyline was still there, then Peyt would have never left luke. Remember the reason why she did in the first place was because of brooke, she didn't want to hurt her. But, if brooke wasn't her friend then i think they would have continued. I also agree that it's confusing to think about :P and man oh man...no offense, but i'm gonna be blunt GJBeint: have you not seen 4.01 and 4.08? BL would have been doomed no matter what. Despite season 1, BL tried again, fell in love, and then fell out of love/dissipated/realized their love wasn't strong enough to fuel their relationship forever and it had nothing to do with peyton in the end (Brooke said it herself in 4.01 and brucas decided their love wasn't strong enough in 4.08).
