The guy's in denial and doesn't even know it.: He's said "I just think it's a story about a boy watching the stars" "So Peyton's car says a comet, y'know...this is crazy I love you" link "So Peyton drives a freaking comet; what the hell?" But he's never just said to Lindsey [or anyone else who has confronted him about the inspiration/meaning behind his book] this book has NOTHING to do with Peyton... Someone mentioned this tid bit in a forum on a fansite so I thought i'd pass it on...lemme know what u guys think! posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

The guy's in denial and doesn't even know it.: mrssamw...when did luke flat out say that the comet had nothing to do with peyton??Yes luke said it was just about a comet; but he never just said: "Peyton has NOTHING to do with my novel" (so yeah, technically, the book is just about a comet, I mean, it doesn't have peyton's name written in it; but the inspiration behind it has not been denied). hope that clarifies things for u... posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
