	ktlady picked (Peyton): Too much drama in Peyton and Lucas's relationship? I would have said it to be the other way around- too much drama in Lucas and Brooke's relationship. Any drama in Peyton and Lucas's relationship is usually from outside sources. Drama in the Brucas relationship is usually self-inflicted (more often than not by Brooke). Also, I think that it's going to be more enjoyable for the person to watch the ship they support. 	Jad555 picked (Brooke): Well othgirl_peyton...he saved her from herself in S1 when she was always wallowing in self pity and having no confidence in herself..he was the one that gave her drawings to that magazine..he was the one that forced her to be strong and go and identify her fathers body..what has she ever done for Lucas?!? She only like Lucas because he gives her attention and really cares for her, but I have never in all my time of watching OTH seen any care back to Lucas. Brooke actually loves Lucas and because of selfish Peyton she had to give him up and had to force herself to move on! If Peyton hadn't of stolen Lucas from Brooke, then Brooke and Lucas would still be together and would be a very strong couple..yeah they had fights ((very entertaining fights for viewers)) but even though they had fights, those fights made them stronger as a couple and showed eachother how much they BOTH care for EACHOTHER. The makers of OTH are pulling for Peyton and Lucas to be togethr because they made the mistake of pairing them together since the first season. But it's not too late to change this IMHO!! I picked Brucas in this poll because....... Yes Brucas they are very enjoyable to watch..why? Because they have very dramatic fights and this makes them realise that they care and love eachother so much..and the fights are very entertaining and interesting. Also I think they are very fun to watch as they ooze alot of chemistry and have fun little moments and sprites of excitement which makes everything less serious, this is a huge paradox from Leyton as Leyton are very depressing and quite boring to watch. 	abs07 picked (Peyton): jad555, if I hear one more time that brucas isn't together because of peyton i'm gonna shoot someone. Have you ppl not seen S4E1 and S4E8? Yes, brucas broke up because of leyton's cheating in Season 1. I won't defend that. but when brucas called it quits in season 4, brooke said it herself that it was no longer about peyton. even when brucas gave it one more shot in s4e38, they both realized there was nothing left between them. they agreed that they did not have the love that whitey described in his speech. the love they were both searching for. they've had 4 seasons to try to see if they had that. you can't blame peyton for brucas' shortcomings. peyton may not have had much to offer to lucas in s1 except her similar broken soul, but she was there for him in season 3 and 4 in a way brooke couldn't have been. Just cause brooke was a fluffy girl while she was with luke, it doesn't mean she made luke the happiest. leyton's mellow mood doesn't lessen the fact that they are so happy and so in love. you have your right to your opinion about that though. I just wish you ppl would stop blaming peyton for brucas not being together for season 4. brooke realized she didn't love lucas anymore. there was numerous quotes by both her and rachel that made that fact come across. brucas fans are die hard and all most of them can do is blame peyton. what about lucas? his shortcomings as a boyfriend "just may" have foreshadowed that he wasn't the happiest with brooke. brooke cried out "why can you never let me all the way in?" luke never let her all the way in like he did peyton? why do you think that is? deep down he still wanted her maybe? Sophia commented how luke really didn't know brooke. he never took the time to do that. they were very superficial in that department. can you blame peyton for that too? the fact that they didn't have that bond was their downfall. Brucas had fun, but luke's heart was always with peyton. even brooke told him to go to peyton right after they won the state championship. nathan even said it was about time. Karen said the same. The writers said it. Chad MM said it in an interview that luke had fun with brooke but he and peyton were destined for eachother and he went back to "who he was" when he realized he wanted peyton in S4E9. again i'm not belittling your opinion about who you think luke was the happiest with. i'm just calling you on your "let's blame peyton for brucas' break-up" rant. it's beyond old. sorry but brucas fans' bias love for brucas clouds their judgment about leyton. they can see that leyton's bond never breaks which obviously got in the way of brucas' relationship in s1, so the claws come out and now everything and anything related to brucas is all of the sudden peyton's fault. ppl rarely mention luke and his hand in all of this. Again, I won't disagree with you about your opinion about brucas' being fun to watch (even though I enjoy watching leyton and believe luke was the happiest he's even been when he was with peyton, lol). cause I have my opinion and you have yours and that's fine. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

	Marijne picked (Peyton): Ok you guys, another Brucas vs. Leyton war is going on and ppl will never agree on this one.. but I think abs07 puts all the facts in the right perspective and really put down in words what the real situation is between Brucas/Leyton. And btw Jad555 what do you mean when you say dat Peyton hasn't given Lucas anything.. what about ehm.. LOVE.. she has loved him most of the time in almost every season.. when she was with other guys (Jake) she knew that deep inside she loved Lucas and that that would never change, still she kept that love to herself because she didn't want to hurt Lucas/Brooke or anyone else.. She waited untill the time was right to finally let lucas know how she felt.. that was when there really was now chance at all that Brucas would still work after the break up. I don't think you can imagine how hard it is to keep something like that to yourself for so long.. and why did she have to? ONLY because in S1 Brooke accidentaly got in the way of things between Leyton. When they finally found eachother in S4 Peyton made Lucas be himself again.. they fit perfectly with eachother.., i know there aren't as many interesting fights or weird situation that are enjoyable to watch as when Brucas was still going on, but the fact is.. that Lucas was ment to be with Peyton and that he couldn't be happier with anyone else. posted over a year ago.

	Leyton4ever picked (Peyton): I picked Peyton. For one I'd really like to know what Brooke gave to the whole Brucas relationship. I will agree that at one time Brooke and Lucas did love each other, there is no arguing about that. However I don't think either of them were happy for most of the relationship they had. Brooke was always trying to get Lucas to let her all the way in(which he was NEVER gonna do) and she spent the rest of the time making him "fight for her" Lucas said it best in episode 4.03...remember this conversation Lucas was totally right when he said this...Lucas: "Brooke, you got a second?" Brooke: "This kind of feels like deja vu." Lucas: "Not really. You told me to fight for you and I did. But, you never fought for me." Brooke: "And I'm not going to." Lucas: "Okay, then I guess I was wrong. I'm not the guy for you Brooke Davis." She didn't fight for him because he's not the one for her and she knew it. hell even Rachel knew it!! Peyton on the other hand makes Lucas happy. She understands him like the rest of them don't. Lucas may not the easiest person to make happy but Peyton definately does a better job at it than Brooke ever could. I'm not gonna say that Brooke never made Lucas happy of course she did. But there are few times when Peyton makes Lucas unhappy. She'd do anything for Lucas if she thought he'd be happier that way. Hell she even helps him try to get brooke back after they break up in season 4. But really Peyton is not the reason that Brucas isnt together. She was in the beginning. But my season 3 the reason they didn't make it was because they just aren't that couple. You guys know that I love leyton but there was a time that I actually did like Brucas but after watching through season 4, i had to totally go with Leyton. I do understand why people love Brucas as a couple. I know that Brucas and Leyton fans are never going to agree to questions like these. I see good and bad points to both couples but when it comes down to it there are more good points to leyton than there is to brucas. The happiest I saw Lucas was season 4 after episode 4.10 when he was with Peyton. posted over a year ago.

	Leyton4ever picked (Peyton): Now I just need to make a few comments to some above posts. First all can we all remember that Lucas has a choice in these matters!!! A person can't be "stolen" if they don't wanna be!!! Sometimes you guys talk like Lucas has no control over what happens lol. To begin with he liked PEYTON first NOT BROOKE. The only reason he even went out with Brooke in season one was because Peyton turned him down and he thought brooke would be fun(which she is). He was just trying to get over how Peyton had hurt him. When he realized Peyton felt the same way about him they we get the whole lying cheating thing going on. Really I don't think Peyton was in the right place to be in a relationship after the horrible relationship she had with Nathan. I don't really even wanna talk about season 1 really because it was pretty much as simple as that in season 1. Season two I'm not even gonna talk because I just really don't like the season as a whole(got get me wrong I love OTH and I love all the episodes but this season just overall annoyed me from several angles). As for season 3 I think I'm gonna rewatch it cuz i haven't watched it in awhile. but what i remember is the fantasy boy draft where brooke chooses chris instead of lucas(though i found it quite funny myself). we have the non-exclusive dating thing, brookes stupid "i wanted you to fight for me speech" which i might i just say that goes both ways. Sure Lucas does more for Peyton than she does for him, i think. But he does ALOT more for Brooke than he did for her. But thats just how Lucas is. Then as season 3 goes on, we find that Brooke isn't even in love with Lucas anymore, even Rachel sees it, but she keeps dating him anyway. Which moves us to season 4 where she breaks up with him. Peyton even helps Lucas try and get Brooke because she thought that was what would make him the happiest. In season four both Brooke and Lucas realize that they are not meant to be together forever. They just aren't that couple. Sure both couples have their good and bad moments but ultimately Peyton makes Lucas happier than Brooke does. Alot of that comes with the fact that she understands him better than Brooke ever would. Some of that is Lucas's fault but not all of it. And for the record PEYTON has nothing to do with why BRUCAS isn't together. Brooke and Lucas are why Brucas isn't together.
