it was good

nope. i mean there were a few things i didn't like, but other than that i liked it. :] especially the leyton scenes.

i dont want yas all to think im saying this coz im a bl fan coz honestly it has nothing to do with that ive said it before i like leyton and dont mind watching them but even if i was a leyton fan i would be totally offended by the way they were shown

actually no coz part of the reason i prefer brucas is coz there not cheesy but leyton are so you probz dont see what i see

i lost respect a long time ago...and i'm not saying this cause i love brucas...but i feel like ever since end of season 5 season 6 there be trying to shove lp down our Throat and i'm sick of it

plus i feel like they don't have respect for us...why should i have any for them

oh common, that's a little drastic, lol. It was a 40s cheese fest - it wasn't a real world OTH irreversible screwup! I enjoyed the episode despite the crappy acting, flawed screenplay, and cheesy dialogue :P
I've watched it like more than half a dozen times so that says something :P

i liked the episode, i think some of you guys are taking this a little too far..was the episode the greatest, no of course it wasn't...but to saw you've lost respect for the show just because of this episode is pushing it a little bit...i mean chad doesn't write the show people, he wrote one episode, and yes i don't think the acting was the greatest, particularly chad, i didn't really think hilarie or james were that great either. joy was alright, paul probably did the best job and even julian was pretty good...the script was silly in some parts but for a majority of the episode he was trying to them speak in phrases that were used in the 40's...overall i think the episode was good...i think the problem it wasn't what people expected it to be, but of course we're used to the way mark writes the characters in the present day, that being said the only parts of hte episode i really didn't care for were the opening and closing scene specfically the first season cuz peyton's lines were totally weird lol

no not at all i dont even shee where you guys are coming from oth-brucas4ever and livelovelaugh. i dont think they have been shoving leyton down our throats! and im not just saying that because i like lucas and peyton! i agree with abs07 it was suppossed to be cheesy! and i agree with Leyton4ever some of you guys are taking this to far. sorry but thats just what i think

Nup, I thought it was great!! I think Chad did a really great job, especially since it was his first episode & all.

it was weird, but it was not a disaster, I think it was the safe way to go.. to let chad write his first episode as one totally outside of the main oth storylines at the moment.. It was fun to see the cheesy-ness.. omg Peyton screaming; I NEED LOVE and spinning circles was a little overboard, but still fun. Brooke was brave, Naley was cute.. mouth was funny, and ofcouuuurse the black guy (skills) had to be the pianoplayer, like in Casablanca. Also I loved that Peyton got shot in the stomach and that that was the ONLY link to the real storyline.

Why do you oth fans say that you lost respect for One Tree Hill? You make it sound like a huge disaster has happened!

I'm sorry, is it the writers job to be 'respectful' towards fans? I definitely don't think so. It's the writers job to write good episodes and intriguing storylines. So even if this episode wasn't all that good, it's not because it supposedly has been 'disrespectful' towards extremistic bl'ers. Besides, if you don't like the show anymore because of Leyton, i guess your not a fan anymore right?
