Mashable, the go-to Web site for social media news and information is seeking nominations for it’s “Open Web Awards,” recognizing people in various categories of bloggers and social media users. Among the top people nominated in THREE categories is Wilmington’s own Hilarie Burton. She’s nominated in the “Best Actor/Actress to Follow,” “Best Celebrity to Follow,” and “Most Inspiring,” categories. You know her as a former star of One Tree Hill, filmed here, and for launching her own production company earlier this year.

Earlier today, The CW announced it has picked up One Tree Hill for a full season.

Now that One Tree Hill has wrapped up its sixth season, Kate Voegele has more time to focus on her music. The 22-year-old singer-actress is currently signed to Interscope Records and has recently released her second studio-album, A Fine Mess, earlier this month.

Does it make anyone else angry that it took Peyton so long to tell Lucas that she not only knows Julian but that they had a relationship? I mean sure Lucas was a jerk all of last season, but this comes as no surprise, it's not like he's never been a jerk before, but he never hid the fact that he and lindsey were in a relationship.
