Is one of the main characters going to die in Season 9?

***possible SPOILERS ahead***

If the spoilers that I have read are true... it's supposedly Dan who dies. Plus I've heard all along that it's not necessarily a "main" character, but a character who has "been around since the beginning". Which makes even more sense that it would be Dan.

But no, I'm 99.9% sure that it's not Nathan. James didn't sign on full time, but from the spoilers that I've read, we're actually supposed to get some good Naley moments at the end of the season. So I wouldn't worry :)

This promo is fan made so I wouldn't worry too much about it :) I did hear that somebody who has been in it from the beginning will get killed off though, but I really doubt it will be Nathan! Marks been playing it pretty safe lately so I doubt he would do anything so drastic. I think it will either be Dan, Mouth or Skills. But I think the odds are on Dan considering he had that dodgy heart transplant.

When I saw the promo for this season I thought that it was going to be Nathan. Things that some of the characters say in the show also lead me to believe that it's going to be Nathan. Plus, I don't see Haley crying like that over Dan. I hope it isn't Nathan though because too many people close to Haley have already died or almost died.

Personally I think its going to be Lucas that dies as he has been on the show since day 1 and he is coming back for one episode. I understand hes coming back to help Haley find Nathan but who knows maybe this is his end. You have to think who are the people that Haley are close to that would make her cry that much. Nathan, Jamie, Quinn, Lucas, Brooke, Taylor or Karen.

I got my money on Lucas! I think he died saving his brother. He's gunna be in the next episode. I can't wait to see it..

just watched the episode. I'm thinking Dan. Hayley was harsh on him thinking he did it. He will have a big role in the rescue of Nathan, somehow end up dying. Hayley will find out he had nothing to do with the kiddnapping, and he saved him. Thats when they cut to the scene of her walking up to him crying. Just my guess...

Ok, im totally freaked out by the death of a character as well therefore i have been reading non-stop about this. I really do not think that Nathan dies. The first reason being he was credited in half the season and he has already not appeared in some episodes. Jumping off of that point, I read that the character dies "midseason" We are already on episode 7 so I am guessing it will be soon, meaning Nathan will not have made it in half the episodes. I had the thought that it may be Mouth as well, perhaps complications from all his weight gain. While I am not ruling this idea out, I am not banking on it because I also read that he is part of one out of two couples that may get married in the flash forward. I think ( and I hate to say it) the most likely candidate may just be Lucas. He is a very loved character of the show and many people's favorite. His death would be terrible for all fans, however considering his absence from the show for such a long time, he does not have any storylines going right now, making it an "easy" kill for the writers, actors, and fans. Not that we like it but it may just be. Fingers crossed it isnt!

ps. Im thinking the death will be in episode ten due to its title "Hardcore will never die, but you will"

It's gonna be broke ... Because at the end it showed that that guy is released and watched her look he rebuilding and he's killed others and in that video I the bed was a girl and it showed juliten and millsen

I've seen the first 3 of the new series, and it shows that Hayley breaks down into tears, when someone shows a body, so I'm guessing that its Nathan, as he goes missing, anyway we will no who it is gy episode 10! And I think Lucas is back in episode 5 or 6

I have seen the entire series and naley is still together and the only reason they really put Lucas back on the show for one episode is so that we as fans, can get some information on Lucas and Peyton and sawyer and it also inicates that sawyer is talking becuase Lucas says " sawyer will talk your ear off"
