Well Directioners, it looks like our boys made a good impression whilst over in America, as rumours have emerged that Nickelodeon are tempted to offer them their own show.

Due to the overwhelming reception from fans they received on their recent whistle-stop tour, a source told Now magazine: “Simon Cowell has vowed to launch them on the US X Factor, while Nickelodeon are in talks to give them their own show.”

We’ve yet to see the iCarly episode which they filmed so can’t comment on their acting skills yet, but if true, it bodes very well for any future success in the USA, if not all over the world.

In other news, Harry Styles has been told to join an exercise class to cure his back problems.

Harry said last month: “I have bad posture and I’ve been told to take pilates once a week.”

We bet that class will be one of the busiest around! “Mum, mum, I wanna take up Pilates, please!”

Valentine's Day is great for young and famous guys like the team from One Direction? Actually, not quite that simple.

Niall Horan admits that there is no partner for Valentine's Day, but said that he would like his company makes Miranda Cosgrove. Liam Payne remained mysterious, but he said that Kim Kardashian has something that he really likes. Zayn Malik did not say so, in finding only "Maybe I'll have date,maybe not."

Harry Styles says he has solved the problem - his partner will bandmate Louis To Tomlinson! "You're cute," said Harry Louis. Louis just laughed and replied: "It seems that my partner is Harry. I have no choice ".

Where guys will be the 14th February? Of course, the most glorious city in the world of romance, Paris! "I love this city," said Malik.

The 1D boys have been talking about their love lives, and discussing when they get to see their partners, Louis Tomlinson came out and said: “My girlfriend and Liam’s (Danielle Peazer) can come in and say hello.”

Liam Payne went further to say: “We can only have visitors between 7 and 8pm because we’re so busy during the day. Puts a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘happy hour!”

To those of you disapointed by the fact Liam & Louis have girlfriends, console yourselves with the fact that there’s still Zayn, Niall & Harry on the market.

Zayn has recently been texting Perrie from Little Mix, though he denies that they’re anything more than friends. Niall spoke about recent X Factor contestant Amelia Lily, and dampened recent gossip about them both by saying: “No. I was just talking to her one day outside the X Factor studio – that’s where those rumours came from.”

In news that won’t come as a shock to non-readers of NME, One Direction have been nominated for Worst Album AND Worst Band in their 2012 Awards.

The NME is famously pompous with its musical merits over the years, and previous winners of the worst album award include Robbie Williams (twice), Jonas Brothers (twice), and even James Blunt, but you’ll be surprised (or maybe not) to find out that Coldplay are also up for the worst album award this year. Yes.

It’s always a good sign of a bands popularity when they get nominated for awards such as this, so despite being up for Best British Single for “What Makes You Beautiful” in the 2012 Brit Awards, they are seen in bad light in the NME’s.

Brit 1D fans rejoice, as the boys are set to arrive back on our soil in time for next weekend, as they’ve been booked in to appear on the next episode of Dancing on Ice, performing “One Thing”.

A source today said that security is set to be tripled, stating: “Producers are very concerned that thousands of fans will storm the studios. That cannot be allowed to happen during a live show.”
