There was a lot of things I had to explain.We gathered around in the living room,I held Anna,her tears hitting me like bullets of regret.When we were younger I'd tell her I'd never leave and I would never make her do anything that she didn't want to or make her feel uncomfortable.Damn,that was such a long time ago,it was hard to remember it all clearly.It was a stupid dare that got me hooked on that beautiful girl witha smile.We sat together just staring at each other.I was really suprised when she said she wanted to kiss me and that was the exact thing she did,and I loved her ever since that day.When I seen Drew I wanted to punch him for being around my wife and children,But I didn't.I kept calm because I didnt want to do anything stupid and cause more trouble.We sat together,me,Anna,Ronnie,Alex and Drew.
"This is Alex,I adopted him,and he is now apart if our family.Im going to be honest with you all,even if it means breaking hearts.
On the plane,I met a woman,We talked then I took her out,Tgen she wanted to go to her place,Before I did anything id regret I left her."
Anna just glared at me,Ronnie started to cry.
"Every tunnel there's a light,right?Another morning I found some cigarettes,I took a walk and found an alley,I sat down and smoked every last one."A tear fell from my face."Then a kid Was there,he asked me for something to smoke.It was Alex,I didn't know he was just a kid at the time.We went to a bar,the bartender so happened to be the woman.She shouted and some men tackled me,a man pressed a knife to my neck,but Alex saved me,So we ran."
I even told them about how I time travel,Anna believed me,Drew thought I was crazy,Ronnie said nothing.Alex Tgen took the time to tell his story,He sat down in a chair staring at the ground as if it were playing a nightmare.
"My father was a hardworkin man,He cared and would do what ever he had to,to protect the ones he loved.To protect me.He had to lied and put a man in jail,So karma came along and he killed from a drive by,that same night Zayn saved my life,He proctected me,He was my dad.Thats why im grateful fir being here.After,I was left with my mother,but she wouldnt even look at me because I looked to much like my dad.One night she bagged my head,I tried to fight her but it was useless.She tried to sell me for 25 dollars."
The room stood silent focusing on the words that had been spoken.Tears fell from everyone's face.
"She didn't even give a damn about me,Hell,She was 16 when I was born."he trembled to say."All my life,I was wishing to be in jail because they would feed you,3 times a day and it was better then the streets,with fear of being killed every time I closed my eyes.I never did go through,it was better to have my freedom wondering the streets.I was lucky through,Zayn was my hero,he was the angel that saved me,I might have saved his life but in am still in debt to him."
We sat in silence,I never knew the pain behind that little boy's smile.I was blind,And now I was exposed to his nightmare called reality.He didn't owe me anything,He didnt just save my life he saved my sprit and pride.I was the one who truly owed something,To my wife,And to my kids.And tgat was that I'd be there for them.I wanted to be honest and keep no secrets.
"You owe me nothing,You didn't just save me,You saved me entirely,and now you are my child and I owe you the world.You don't have to worry anymore,Your safe,both wil ever happen to you again."I told him.
He cried on me,I had an arm around him and the other around Anna.
"Is there anything else we need to discuss?"
Anna looked like she wanted to say something.
"Courtneys dad...He came here,that's why Drews here."
My heart skipped a beat,And all together paused.
