Well, I first heard about them through watching X Factor UK cause i just happen to like reality shows. I didn't take much notice to them at first just cause i didn't get a chance to watch the whole series. I absolutely love the Chris Moyles radio show unfortunately it ended yesterday :(, it was actually from watching the youtube clips of the show that i saw the half an hour interview of them and i fell in love;)
My cousin was a fan of them, but not a directioner. I liked they song what makes you beautiful because we had to sing it a school last year. I made fun of it...

Well I discovered One Direction when My family went to London cos Mom volunteered to take care Little Kids and My dad Is a photographer and he has a friend that knows One Direction so My daddy ask them for 1 pic. when they arrived at the studio I was about to go out and I search the name One Direction and listen to their song.1 week I was now a dedicated Directioner and also the happiest person alive and maybe I should've stay so they can meet me. I was watching the KCA (Kids choice Awards) on Nick and saw them preform "What makes you beautiful" then i instantly fell in love with them now i'm proud to be a Directioner!!!!!! <3<3<3
i frst found out aout them when they first came togther and i was hopin harry would win the whole thing and niall louis laim and zayn i thought they were all cute from the first auditions
from magazines but at first i tought they were some idiots and one day me and my bff were reading a magazine where was something about the song one thing so we listen to it and i realized how wrong i was and then i became a directioner and infect all my friends and classmates with one direction infection! ;)
I was reading a magazine back in december 2011 and there was an article about them. It said that they were already big in the UK and they were on the X-factor, among other things. I live in the US, so this was a time when only a handful of people knew who they were.

The ONLY reason why I thought that is because most artists in thr UK and other countries the are big there don't usally make it to the US.
But other than that, I feel in love with them on the spot.
