Once Upon A Time Question

Who's the more sympathetic villain? Zelena or Ingrid?

Let's see, Zelena was abandoned by Cora as a baby and left to the care of an adopted mother who died and an adopted father who's cruel and never loved her and called her "wicked." To be honest, it's kinda hard to sympathize with her after those events cause once she finds out she has a sister she goes all Jan Brady except she's jealous of her younger sister instead of older sister. Then again to be honest, I can relate to her cause I've had moments of jealousy similar to how she feels. I mean I didn't turn green and evil or wicked but still, she's relatable to me.

As for Ingrid, she was called a monster as a child after unknowingly shooting her ice powers after that child abductor kicked her and her powers caused a tree branch to fall on top of him. Several years later, she was the victim of being almost sexually assaulted by that asshole Duke of "Weaseltown" and he blamed her for coming on to him and shooting at him with her powers for "rejecting her" when Helga came into the scene. Then later out of anger, Ingrid shot her powers at the Duke and accidently shot Helga and was horrified. When Gerda came into the scene she called her own sister who she promised to never look at as a monster...well a "monster" and trapped her in an urn.

Sorry for the long obvious recaps. lol Just wanted to share how both of them can be sympathized. Question is, who do you sympathize with more? For me it's both more more with Ingrid since her evilness didn't come out of jealousy. (Possibly)

Zelena by a long shot for me. Ingrid has always had people who loved her. Sure Greta turned on her out of fear but Helga defended her to the last. Zelena never knew love except for her mother (her true mother, as in the adopted one) and then she died.

True, but Zelena COULD have had other people that loved her, but she grew to be envious of Regina's life instead of trying to positively better her own. The fact that she never really knew love except for her adoptive mother was kind of a bed of her own making, in my opinion.

This is actually rather hard; Ingrid just wants a family. But Zelena felt so unloved by her own mother and adoptive after that she wnent after her own sister. So I'm going to go with Zelena.
