is it just me or has the show gotten funnier as well as more intense?

i've noticed i've found myself laughing more at certain parts in the current episodes. lol. For instance the look on Regina's face in this picture below. ;D. I mean i know the show had its funny moments in the first and second season but i found i'm kinda laughing more in this season. lol.
