Once Upon A Time Question

can anyone join me on feeling bad for regina in today's epic finale?

well the show did it. they made me feel sorry for the villains. it honestly broke my heart when regina was crying when henry temporarily died and when she was crying on his pillow. part of me felt glad that she was last seen smiling as she was watching the pink smoke. is that bad to say? lol i just cant help but find the scenes of her crying breaking my heart. i guess i really am an evil regal lol i never thought i'd be showing syphathy for villains lol

To many it's no surprise I would feel sorry for Regina. But DAMN I didn't think I could feel any worse for her but I was wrong. Also the scene which got me is the one when she thought Henry had died and the scene with her crying into his pillow. If people had doubts about her love for him before I hope to god that vanished any doubt about it. She loved him, no question about it. She raised him from an infant and devoted 10 years of her life trying to do what was best for her son and then to only have him dismiss her as just "an evil queen" is just tragic.

Her going into his room and hugging his pillow did stir my empathy for her. But -- so does this mean she never tried to kiss Henry when he was in the hospital? Or that she did & it didn't work? One would think she would have tried, as she knew true love's kiss would break the spell. I think the definition of True Love might be that it's completely unselfish; you want the person you love to be happy even if it means they're with someone else.

It made me feel a little bad for her, but then I thought about everything that she has done. She has just hurt so many people and she doesnt seem to feel remorse for any of it.
I dont blame people for liking her, because she is seductive, but as I said, she has just done too much for me to feel bad for her for long.

I don't know how you can say she doesn't feel any remorse for the things she does. It's clear she has and does. She's scared and hurt which can drive a person to do unthinkable things.

not to mention that... what happened to Henry is her fault!

I was almost in tears. She was being forced to leave her son. I remember in the beginning of the series when Emma had just come to town, that Gina had told her off, and that she was Henery's mom. I've stuck with her on that, and still am hanging on tight. Regina lost the one thing she loved, the one person, even when Henery came back. I couldn't help but feel sorry for her...

I was beginning to feel sorry for Regina....

THEN,

HER EVIL SMIRK when she saw the new 'curse' coming, understanding that she'll have magic again and the power to do more evil.... brought me back to my old feelings -> she's rotten. to the core.

Yes. I cried over poor Gina. :'(
I've always felt so sorry for her. She's not really evil. She's just scared.

Henry is alive. She wants him to know she truly loves him. Because of her son, I don't think she'll try to be so evil anymore.
But when she has been evil, it's been out of fear of losing. And if she's evil again, she'll lose him for good.
She obviously has magic now
. Let's hope she puts it to good use.

Not saying I don't like her being evil. Because I love it. ;)

why is regina crying on henry's pillow if the scene was after he was revived? is it cause she knows that emma has a very strong chance of regaining custody over him? that scene from that picture you posted always broke my heart. :'(

Because she knows she's lost him. Everyone will know who she is now, that she tried to 'kill' Emma, & poisoned her son instead, etc.
