ok, anyone else a little bit confused on this....

SO I know this was last week's episode, but in that episode we see Jefferson in perfectly good health condition, nothing wrong, (which I am not complaining on that, I love him) with the evil queen, they go through the hat, etc..., etc.
Well, did anyone ever think that the last time we saw Jefferson he fell out of a two story window and all that was left to where he landed was the hat Emma made? So I found it a little startling when I saw him. I thought "wait, how did he show up?" Can anyone explain to me what you thought happend to Jefferson after he fell out of the window? I am still trying to think that one through.... Thanks!
