In case this is unclear, I just mean that if you're nonbinary do you personally also identify as trans? Do you think being nonbinary falls under the blanket category of trans?
I personally don't identify as trans even though I am nonbinary. I think it's fine if people do, especially if you're identity is far from your assigned gender at birth, but I still partially identify with my biological sex. I go to a women's college and I'm not a girl but I partially identify with "woman." I also don't feel comfortable identifying as trans because of the history of violence trans people in particular have faced. I haven't been exposed to that so I don't really feel connected to the label for that reason, either.
i identify as trans cuz like for me its just a way of saying im not cis?? im more comfy w saying im nb tho but like im nb and trans. i identify partially as my assigned gender also.
I thought about taking on the label a few times, but no. To me, it seems to imply that I want to transition, but I don't. I'm fine with just Non-Binary.
