The staff of the Naruto anime franchise announced at the Jump Festa event on Saturday that a new anime film project will launch in 2014. More information will be in future issues of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
Until now, there has been a new Naruto film every year since 2004. The ninth film, Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, opened in Japan on July 28 and became the highest grossing film in the franchise. Viz Media has released several of the films in North America, including most recently, Naruto Shippūden: The Will of Fire in October.

"Naruto, you're so reckless!" yelled Sakura.
"Geez...How much longer do we have to wait for Kakashi Sensei?" Naruto thought.
"Well, he's always been late, so i'm not surprised."
*a figure appears far away in the opposite direction of the gate*
"Is that...Kakashi Sensei? What is he doing out there from the village?" asked Sakura.
"I-It can't be.. it's..." stuttered Naruto.
As the figure walked closer and closer, they're jaws dropped wide open.
"Hello again, loser. I'm back."
Sasuke smiled.
"Naruto, you're so reckless!" yelled Sakura.

Upon noticing the blast, Suigetsu summons Manda and finds out that Sasuke had used him to escape. Unable to survive, Manda dies from his wounds and Zetsu informs the remaining Akatsuki members of Deidara's death. Naruto and the others get to the crater, and using Kiba's tracking skills they begin to track down Sasuke's scent. Elsewhere, the Akatsuki leader, Pain and his partner, Konan, are then ordered to capture the Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki by a mysterious man, Tobi, his real identity being Madara Uchiha.
