Why DOES Naruto have whiskers?

It can't be because he is the jinchuuriki of Kurama, because Kushina was as well and she didn't have whiskers. Neither did the nine-tails jinchuuriki before her. Kinkaku and Ginkaku had whiskers, but was it because they were swallowed by Kurama? If not, then why? This has been bugging me... XP

I think because Kushina still had the nine-tails in her when naruto was born.They did say a jinchuuriki's seal weakens during child birth.Maybe some of Kurama's chakra leaked into naruto when he was in the womb,and it gave him whiskers?

As for Kinkaku and Ginkaku,maybe trace amounts of demonic chakra affected their apearance at some point as well?

Yeah... I actually saw a random guy in the background once who also had whiskers, so maybe they're just a birthmark that crops up from time to time in the Naruto world.

Well,actually,during the brief time between his birth and the sealing,the marks are still there.So he had the marks before the Kyuubi,or Kurama if you prefer,was sealed into him.It's likely just a birth mark.

Makes sense, I guess... so I suppose you have to kind of be inside either the nine-tails (like Kinkaku and Ginkaku) or a jinchuuriki to have whiskers, then?
